Mission statement

AVE represents the external economic interests of German retail importers.

We campaign in favour of a liberal and open trade policy and promote the development of international trade relations as well as a dismantling of trade barriers.

In this regard, we are conscious of our responsibility for humankind and environment, and are committed to observance and ongoing improvement of social and environmental standards in supplier countries.
